Finding a Job and Contributing to Our Community

Easter Seals Sierra Nevada provides Job Training and Employment Services for people with developmental disabilities. Individual programs are developed through a person-centered planning process.   We are certified by the State of Nevada as a Community Training Center.

Easter Seals is committed to the right of personal choice in all of our vocational services.We realize that everybody has a little bit different definition of success. We focus on the goals of each person and tailor our services to help each participant achieve them.  

• Easter Seals Thrift Stores -- people learn job and life skills while working at one of our retail stores in Reno or Elko. Additional opportunities are available at our Reno donation processing center.
  
• Community Work Teams - Participants work in local businesses or agencies as part of an Easter Seals Team.
  
• Micro-Enterprise Services - The project provides a wide variety of supports for people with developmental disabilities who want to start their own businesses.
